We got a call from a sweet girl named Savannah. The Castroville Police Department gave her our contact information. Savannah was calling about a dumped 2 week old kitten that was left in box in the parking lot of where she works at "Sonic"(drive-in).
She took him home and tried to care for him the best she could....but he started failing after a few days.
As exhausted as we were, we said we would meet them for a quick surrender of the little bitty guy at the Castroville police station. Hannahmarie stayed behind with the latest intakes as she was in the middle of bathing/de-fleaing them all.
I met the finders at 3pm.... and it was very obvious we had to act quickly to try and save this little lifeless guys life! He was having seizures and severely dehydrated.... all I could do was pray on the drive back to the house that he would make it.
Savanah and Samantha were amazing humans that have big hearts for animals. Thank you for reaching out.... you saved little "Sonic's" life. 🙏❤🐈
