Meet "Homer". He was seen being dumped in The Home Depot parking lot in San Antonio, Texas by 2 homeless men.
Homer had, what we are assuming was human feces on his neck...(We can't begin to understand how/why)
Homer was infested with ticks of all sizes. He also had a flea infestation.
Homer had several old injuries that were scabs caked with dirt on his shoulder and his back. And the pads of his feet are pink and worn.
It is obvious that he was "someone's " dog....living on the street or not. We don't know his story....the how's and why's.....but he is safe now. We thank The Home Depot and their employees for their compassion and love for animals. Homer is safe now because of all of you.
We've made a promise to sweet Homer.....(and is he sweet!) That we will tend to his medical needs and find him the perfect fur-ever family. Stayed tuned for when Homer will be available for adoption, and we of course are accepting donations to help this sweet boy!
