Sweet "Ziggy" tucked himself away under a truck that was traveling from Somerset to Castroville! That's 22.6 miles...a 34 min drive!
When the woman parked her truck in Castroville in front of the "A TWO Z Graphics" shop, she saw little Ziggy crawl down from underneath her truck, and he ran under another car.
The owner of that car was the owner of the shop, Donnitta Seay. This situation was brought to her attention, and she hopped right into rescue action....
Ziggy, got himself into another tight situation now under Donnitta's car.
Orange cones to block off the street......a car jack to lift the car....one very brave niece @aleksa.viscardi that crawled under that car.....and retrieved little Ziggy.
All followed up with a phone call to Petunia's Rescued Friends. We were happy to help them out with Ziggy.
Thankfully, Donnitta and her niece bathed Ziggy in Dawn soap to get him de-flead! But Ziggy unfortunately isn't in the best health. He is dealing with an upper respiratory infection.
Ziggy (20th kitten intake) is on the mend....he is safe now..... Thank you to everyone who helped in his rescue. Ya'll are amazing!
